About the Role
Cowford Consulting is hiring Senior Full Stack Engineers to support a top technology client building a global, AI-enabled platform. This role involves developing large-scale applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and modern distributed systems.
You will lead technical projects, collaborate across teams, and help shape best practices in a high-performance engineering environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and build scalable, distributed systems and platform features.
- Develop front-end and back-end solutions using Ruby on Rails and React.
- Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams.
- Lead workstreams and mentor other engineers.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Expert experience with Ruby on Rails and React (required).
- Experience with Python should be advanced.
- Strong background in system design, scalability, and high-traffic applications.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar
Bonus Points For:
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- Experience with estimating or job bidding
- Familiarity with permitting and inspections
- Commercial or multi-family experience
- Pay based on experience + PTO + opportunity for growth
